The "BBQ Baby Back Ribs" were a disaster. Instead of a tangy sauce it was overwhelmingly salty...so much so that I couldn't eat it. Scraping the sauce off the meat did not help as the meat was bland and flavorless like it had been boiled to death. The small amount I did eat made me feel ill.
We also tried the nut encrusted Ahi. Yuck! It was chewey and the flavors were flat and unappetizing. When two entrees are bad that's a sign that there is something terribly wrong in the kitchen.
Some people seem to like it, which tells me they have a consistency and quality control problem. It's not worth the risk at these sky high prices.
On the plus side, the staff were very friendly.

We stumbled across this place our first night without knowing anything about it. It is great food for a good price, the best value on the island. Their might be fancier places, but this place was so good that we ate there 3 times in one week (2x for dinner, once for breakfast). Their banana pancakes are even better than the nearby places that claim to have the best pancakes!
Scotty's is a great place! Excellent food is bested by the view! Ambience is alot less that you would expect for an oceanfront restaurant, but really..Who Cares! your eating lunch for 10 bucks and sitting by the ocean slurpin down the best Mai Tai o
