I just finished having an amazing meal with 6 of my friends at OSO Tavern in High Point. I can't remember the last time I've had a better time. Everyone's meals were exceptional and the service was terrific. I will definitely be back for more!

On 2/16/2009, I took five couples for a nice and quiet meal at Stake Street. (We drove 26 miles to the restaurant). We do this as a group quite often. It was our St. Valentine’s Day celebration as a group. We don't mind the prices, if the food and s ...

Oso's is my very favorite restaurant! We have dined there on many occasions and love the food and the staff. We took my son there for his 21st birthday and they made the experience very memorable for him. Special kudos to Wayne, the bartender.

This was my first experience with O'SO Tavern for lunch. Excellent food and service. Our waiter, Jeff, could not have been more attentative even though he had several tables. We had one special, the beef medallions, and one from the regular menu, crab cake. The crab cake was 100% crab meat with just a bit of mayo to bind it together and cooked to perfection. The beef medallions were tender with a smooth brown sauce. Salads were fresh with homemade salad dressing (blue cheese was terrific; the bread was o'so good;comes from the Balken Bakery just around the corner. Dessert was a warm chocolate brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate and carmel sauce. I will definitely be going back.

My wife and I just moved to the area and found this place by accident. By the # of cars out side usually indicates how good a place is. We were not dissapointed. Top to bottom it was better then most. We will be back.

fantastic restaurant. I loved it. I had the pecan chicken and I dont think it could have gotten any more flavorful. the gyro bites are great as well and so was the chocolate landslide. I will go back often and suggest that everyone go and try it you'll love it.

Really sorry that Aquaria Seafood Grille closed. They had the best seafood around and we ate their amost every Saturday night. We have not found a seafood restaurant since that compares. :(

This is now OSO Tavern and it is very good. They remodeled it nicely and the food is very fresh. You feel like you should pay or for the dining experience but they pride themselves on doing it well without the price tag of most restaurant in this caliber. I had the Primb Ruben which consisted of thinly sliced primb rib with an excellent horseradish sauce. The bread they use is right from the bakery next door. Overall very good experience and would definately go again.

Ate here with two adult colleagues for dinner upon recommendatin of where we were staying. Warm welcome, booth in non-smoking section was provided immediately (we arrive about 6:15pm on a Tuesday night). Took a few minutes for our server to appear, but after she did, we got good service from her and kitchen staff who often brought out the items as soon as they were ready to eat. We ordered the 1/2 pound steamed shrimp appetizer, which was delicious and the shrimp were ready to peel. Bread was provided (and refilled) including sone nice sweet-tasting corn muffins. One of us ordered the grilled salmon, which was very tender and melted in her mouth. Another ordered the grilled catfish (2 filets) which was fresh (no fishy smell) and sweet. These were from the early-bird special menu and very reasonably priced (ends at 6:30pm). I had the combo fried "regular" platter with scallops (big!) and oysters, and my order (under $20 even adding their wonderful she-crab soup) was quite generous with a nice, light breading. I had grilled asparagus with my order which was nice, but got cold quickly. Friends ordered a house pinot grigio, which they said was quite nice.

The atmosphere is fairly plain, nothing particularly fancy but comfortable. Being from PA, I was surprised to be asked if we wanted smoking or non-smoking, but had no sense of smokers in the non-smoking area. ALL of PA is non-smoking in restaurants except bars. If you are looking for "elegant dining," this probably isn't where I'd take my special date or hold an important business meal if I wanted to impress.

I travel extensively, and this restaurant is a good value in my experience. Not cheap (the bill with tip was about $90 for the 3 of us), but not out of line for the quality of food.

I would eat here again, and would give is 3 1/2 stars. A little nicer atmosphere/interior decor would have made it a 4 star experience.
