We stayed at a Disneyland hotel and drove to the restaurant which was about 8 minutes south on Harbor Blvd. We enjoyed the beef broccoli, shrimp fried rice and Hot and Sour Soup which was fresh, hot and flavourfull. They confirmed all food is prepared fresh, no steam tables here!Made to order and on our table in 12 minutes.Hot tea on the table in 3 minutes. We were advised they have been serving the Anaheim area for close to 20 years and has been a family run business and at the same location which is unique in the constant turn over of owners, staff etc. in food biz. Food items were 6.95/7.95 range as opposed to the $12 - $13 for sit down places adjacent to the hotel and close to double that at Disneyland itself. The greeting at the door was friendly by the owner herself, all questions regarding ingredients, recommendations etc were answered knowledgably. Next time we visit Anaheim we will drop in for another bite.

a diner from Garden Grove, CA
Panda House in Garden Grove overcharged by $5. The Panda House delivery guy demanded a tip when the advertisement said "free delivery." I was missing an order & immediately contacted Panda House to have the driver come back upstairs to the hotel to reimburse us or to bring us the missing order. They neither reimburse my money for the missing order nor would the manager send the missing order.
Per the concierge, another person at the hotel already complained about the same thing earlier that day.
Another negative review of a similar incident that happened to someone else can be seen on http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g29092-d75522-r12346324-Desert_Palms_Hotel_Suites-Anaheim_California.html
One night we decided to order in Chinese food, so we picked up the visitor's entertainment book from the desk. We ordered from Panda House, and when the food arrived I questioned the price as it was $7 more than the pamphlet said. The man said those were "old prices",even though I showed him it was dated Dec. 2007. He asked where his tip was, and put his foot in the door until I gave him one!!!
