The Coffee Works features fresh roasted beans for their coffee and the highest quality deli meats for their sandwiches. Also try their great desserts.

I LOVE Pierce Street! I live in Colorado now and miss Pierce St! Very kid friendly and always good coffee. Ron does an excellent job displaying local art, which makes for a very homey dining experience. The only thing I wish for would be some organic options. But, I always visit a few times when back to see my family.

Wanted to order lunch for 10 people in an Office building seeing that they have delivery. They have no fax machine to send a menu and the person that answer the phone was too busy to go thru a menu with me. Looks like we eat elsewhere. Get some technology!

The Best Coffee Shop in Sioux City Iowa by far! Excellent homemade food. The best Barista's. No comparison. Starbucks and especially Caribou would be jealous. The owner is dedicated and treats his customers like family. Always the best at Pierce Street Coffee Works.
If you are looking for a cute coffee shop experience this may or may not be the place for you. If you are interested in being berated by the servers, then look no further. I have never been to a Starbucks but when trying to order a drink that Starbucks has supposedly made famous, they insisted on giving me the Starbucks version of the drink as opposed to the real version. Then when leaving they said that we should go to Starbucks. Being a small town coffee house it is usually not wise to belittle patrons who could have invariably been loyal customers and you would think they would want to make themselves stand out against the corporate Starbucks backdrop. I will be telling people of this experience and I am saddened that I will not be able to allow myself to spend money at this establishment.
Our family has been relocated to Europe....land of streudals and scones,,,,yet our #1 place we are dreadfully homesick for is the Pierce Street Coffee House. We were actually looking for a web site for the coffee house so we could e-mail....what do you think a latte on line??? Pierce Street Coffee Works has become what many old "Sioux Citians" use to classify Green Gables or Coney Island...land of great food, great people, great atmosphere....oh and don't forget the coffee.

The Pierce St. Coffee Works is an unpretentious coffee house that focuses on serving great coffee, sandwiches, bagels, and desserts. The staff is generally helpful and efficient without being to caught up in being overly hip. You also won't find any burlap coffee bean bags or other coffee house stereotypes for decorations. Located in midtown, it's not walking distance from downtown but in Sioux City, everybody drives anyway. This place is the best coffee house/deli in town by a long shot.
