Please keep in mind that the ratings represent drive through service. After spending 3 bucks just to drive and return home I think most can appreciate my less than stellar rating when I explain that the 3 pounds of sausage I returned home with (you usually don't have to check how your order looks until you get home) was so badly burned it was not edible. A call to the manager at around 8:45PM; the time of discovery, it was a waste of time. He confirmed that yes, all the sausage they had cooked was ..."well done" and no more would be cooked this evening. I asked his name and he mumbled something about replacing the order tomorrow if I came back. For a $42 order I think anyone should expect something better than this. I could not help but wonder what circumstances would led to this type of food offering. Was it inattentiveness of the workers? Why present such a poor product when they knew it was not a good representation of their offerings. I cannot find a corporate number online; only other locations of restaraunts. With their prices not exactly cheap I have made the decision to no longer patronize this business. I read in a review at another site that they have recently undergone a management change. It appears its time for another. NEXT!

You get what you pay for. For a girl on a budget the quality and price were consistant---I will go back. I don't know why people complain. When you pay $7.00 for a meal how can you compare it to what you pay $14.00 dollars for somewhere else. BE FARE!

I JUST WANT TO SAY THIS PODNUD'S IS NOT LIKE IT USE TO BE. MEAT IS HALF DONE, BURNT UP BEANS PULLED UP FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE POT AND STIRRED IN WITH OTHER BEANS AND THEN PLACE IN THERE PANS TO SERVE. IT'S NOT SMOKE FLAVOR I'M TASTING. IT'S OLD BURNT UP BEANS. AND ALSO, WHEN YOU TRY TO MAKE SOMETHING STRECTH, LIKE BAKE BEANS, IT LOOSES IT TASTE. I'VE GOTTEN THE BAKED BEANS SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY WERE TERRIBLE, JUST HORRIBLE. RIBS ARE VERY HARD. THEY ARE ALL DRIED OUT. I HEAR ALOT OF PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT THIS PLACE SINCE THE MANAGER CHANGED. FLORIDA LOCATION WAS THE BEST PODNUH'S IN BATON ROUGE. NOW IT WASTE OF MONEY. THE QUALITY OF FOOD HAS GONE DONE. THE OLD MANAGER SHOULD HAVE GIVEN SOME OF HIS HIDDEN SECRETS BEFORE HE SOLD IT TO THE NEW PERSON. IT'S THE PODNUH'S ON FLORIDA STREET. THEY REALLY DO A POOR JOB IN COOKING. IT'S JUST NOT LIKE IT USE TO BE AT ALL. I HAVE BEEN COMING TO PODNUH'S FOR OVER 25YRS. AND IT HAS TRULY CHANGED. I CAN'T BELEIVE IT. I HOPE IT COMES BAKE LIKE IT USE TO BE.
