This restaurant was the best (tostadas, enchiladas, guacomole dressing - yum). I've missed Pueblo del Sol all of these years. I found out last night that you can buy the sweet and sour dressing and the mild salsa at Lucchesi's Deli in the same shopping center. That is good news -- better than nothing.

I grew up with Pueblo Del Sol (since probably 1974ish), we went to the one in Santa Rosa mostly. When that one closed we would drive to the Petaluma location. We were very upset when it closed and still reminisce about their food.

LOVED the salsa, tacos, tostadas and my husband the sweet and sour dressing. The prices were great too! Please bring it back or share your recipes!!!

I don't believe they have opened another restaurant however, I do know that Lucchesi's deli In Petaluma in the same shopping center as Pueblo Del Sol useed to be sells the Sweet and Sour dressing and the Salsa that they served there. The owner of Lucchesi's deli know's the old managers of Pueblo Del Sol so he might be able to give you more info as to wheather there is a new restaurant or not.

My family and friends absolutely loved the tostada's with blue cheese or sweet and sour dressing. We were also very sad when the resturant closed. Have you opened another resturant elsewhere under another name?
