We recently discovered the Red Oak Diner, Hazlet NJ is Back and even Better! For those of you not acquainted with Monmouth County NJ/Shore area, the Red Oak has been around for about 50 years (with one short change of name several years ago). They are back with an awesome menu (traditional diner food as well as a full steak menu and high end stuff, if your in the mood), all at reasonable prices. They also have complete pizza selections; delivery in the area; and a full ice cream bar with Hershey Ice cream - $1.00 for a cone! We were there in July for their comedy night ($15.00 included 2 drinks) had some pretty tasty appetizers and $2.00 drafts. Also very kid friendly (movies; free kids meals etc.) I would definitely go back! Enjoy!
