The staff was atrocious. The place was out of control and the only thing they were concerned about was people using their bathroom. Food horrible service horrible bathrooms dirty. This is the most over priced place I have ever been. It used to be run a lot better.
We had a wonderful dining experience at this
restaurant. They explained how they had totally
remodeled the buidling last year, 2004. The food was fabulous and we had a really enjoyable evening. I would highly recommend.
They were grumpy at us in their service. The place was empty and we were just getting some drinks and an appitizer. The hostess had said there was a 10 dollar minimum, but that was ok. When the waitress brought out the bill she told us that it was a ten dollar minimum per person, and that we should ...
GORGEOUS WHARF AMBIENCE, THE BEST EGGPLANT PARMIGIANA EVER, IMPRESSIVE WINE LIST, THE PLACE HAS A COZY, FRIENDLY FEEL. EXCELLENT AND UNSTUFFY SERVICE.
Awesome food. The best in the wharf
Visited Castagnola's at Fishermans Wharf during a visit from Seattle. The dining experience was great. Good food, good wine and great service. Will go back next visit.
Gorgeous views, candle light, happy hour, jazz combo, tasty and affordable food. It seems they start with only the best ingredients. More than just seafood...steaks, veal, and pasta were delightful. Overall at least a B plus.
It's the gem of the Richmond district in S.F. IT's been open for nearly four years, owned and run by Philippe and Ellen Gardelle who are on-site every night closely supervising everything, chatting at tables, racing out the door after you to say goodbye if somehow you have managed to slip out of th...
Chevy's is a favorite restaurant of my friends and me, as we attend school in the area. Not only is the food excellent (there's always something good on the menu, for all tastes) and prices fairly reasonable, but the staff is friendly and tolerable towards high school kids and older diners alike. It...
I feel that this small french restaurant provided the greatest meal for the money. The prixe fixe menu is a great deal and offers great food. My wife and I both found the service to be superb, which is sometimes unheard of in a french restaurant.
One of the most popular brunch spots in San Francisco has just opened for dinner. Scott Simms has brought a new touch of class to Doidge's by designing a superb new, brasserie style menu. Selections are limited, but every one of them is on the menu for a reason- they are all worth going back for. No...
Fantastic authentic indian food. The best indian food I've had so far in the USA (I'm british). The place has beautiful, stylish decor so it's a treat to be here. Prices are a little on the high side - none of the main dishes comes with anything, so once you've added rice or bread it adds up. Not a ...
Sushi for the connoisseur. The freshest of the fresh. Generous pieces. Long lines.
On several visits at different times to this "neo-classical american" restaurant service was inconsistent and spotty; staff seemed more concerned with volume (get'um in and get'um out) during lunch and dinner rather than customer service and experience. Despite the fast paced enviroment, our waiter...
The food was very good, a little pricy, but worth it. The service was the best. The waiters were attentive and friendly. The decor is gorgeous and the view is nice. I'd definitely recommend the Empress to friends visiting the area.
Delicious food... tremendous flavor. Excellent service and an overall wonderful dining experience. Whenever we are in SF, we go to the Empress!
Wonderful food and wonderful view! Whenever a friend is going to San Francisco we highly recommend the Empress of China!
It was a wonderful experience, upon entering the front door until exiting, beautiful decor and wonderful food. Service was excellent.
This place was amazing. Great food, the best Wine list I have seen anywhere and very cool ambience.
The best restaurant we experienced in San Francisco. Although generally catering for seafood the menu was extensive but certainly good value for money. And the views of the sunset was for free!
