The food at The real "Taste of Jamaica" should be a part of the food pyramid. To be eaten at a minimum of once a day!!!!!!!!

The food was okay, and the people were nice. That is, when they actually came to the booth to serve us. My chicken dish was overpriced, and it was only middling. Also, my dessert came with a huge black hair on it--I have never sent food back so quickly. Then they had to tell me that they didn't ...
I had to wait to get a table, and man was it ever worth it! So many people just throw some home fries on the side, and they're red from sitting in grease, but these home fries were really cared for. Cooked to perfection, soft enough to mash with your fork, and seasoned perfectly! Someone actually ca...
We ordered lunch from the Greek Deli for 15 people delivered to our office in December 2007. About 15 minutes within eating the Greek Deli's food, several people reported getting sick with diarrhea. When I called to complain, the owner insisted it was something we ate for breakfast that must have ca...
Every 3 months I'm there!
I discovered Henry's with a co-worker about 8 years ago and haven't stopped going!! The service is excellent!! A nice young lady with respect for her elders takes your order and it's on!!! The food is the BOMB!! Try the SWEET POTATOE Pie!!! Go early to get the meatloaf!!!

food only good if you good in the morning
This was a terrible experience. We had to change our reservation a couple of times due to our meeting schedule. The woman who helped us for reservation was obviously angry when we made a phone call. We felt bad about it but at the same time, we thought that her attidute was not professional. The foo...
Excellent ceviche!
Would highly recommend this place.
Would highly recommend this place.
Guapo's is one of the best. Went there for the first time with my parents and they were so pleased that they tipped over 25%! The food is unbelievably good...and you never leave unsatisfied. The service is tops...your glass of water is almost never half empty and the bowls of chips and salsa are oft...
The menu hasn't change in 30 years and the ambiance is warm and caring. Always a delightful place for drinks and dinner.

I don't know if I had different experience than other Indian/South Asians, because when I went there yesterday, I was treated great. The service was friendly. My food was fine and good. I don't know if I did not have any problem because I did not complain at all, like we all desi (south asian) tend ...

The food is okay, not great. The Rogan ghosh (?) a mutton curry dish my friend ordered was watery and full of coloring, and not a careful blend of Indian spices as it should be. The restaurant does claim to sell "home-cooking"; my friend is from India, and she was appalled. Also, the owners are nice...

I really wanted to like this restaurant after all of the hype (and I love to dine out here in DC); however, my expectations fell flat when I made a reservation. The service was terrible. The waiter couldn’t be bothered, the bar tenders were rude and not knowledgeable or helpful in any way. The food ...
I almost missed Henry's Delicatessen the first time I went there. It's well marked but on a fairly residential street so I actually bumped into it. Boy am I glad I did! It's well worth any trip because the food is amazing! It's good old fashioned soul food so if you're looking for a neo-fusion v...
If you would like to have a real, authentic Japanese sushi experience. In the hands of Chef Kawasaki, sushi becomes high art. An extraordinarily special restaurant in an unusual location, but well worth going out of your way for. I ate at the sushi bar and found the chef to be friendly and info...

If you are an Indian, you won't care for this place. The food is mediocre at best and the service is ok, but not that accommodating. The sweet lassi tasted like they just spooned 100 tbsp of sugar into it and when we asked them if we could switch them for less sweet ones, they told us that sweet l...
