The move to the new location on 192 was a plus. Good service and really good food. The portions are large and the food is hot. No complaints from this patron. I will definitely go back.
Cancun Cafe is a great lunch and dinner place. My husband and I have been going there for about 2 years now, and while we loved the old location more, feel that the atmosphere of the new location makes for a better Mexican dinning experience. My first experiences with this restaurant were pretty good, but the acoustics are poor, so one Friday evening the noise was so horrific we couldn't hear each other! Then I took my sister and brother in law there for lunch. My husband ordered a sandwich which didn't come with the rest of the orders...

Sure can tell if your a regular or not. Seems to be a very busy place, not sure if it is for the food? I thought my meal was..ok at best and priced a little high. Make sure you don't want to sit and visit when your done eatting...because they want you up and out! I would like to say on this case....
We used to love this place - but past several visits have been lousy. And, management has become way too picky about ordering from the smaller portions on the kids menu.
Was disappointed with my meal. Ordered steak and it was overcooked, had hush puppies which were not cooked through. Sides were not redone but left under the warmer while steak recooked. Generally disappointing dining experience.
Horrible! Food was nasty. Rice had no taste. The place was dirty! To get to the bathroom you had to cross the kitchen. Bathrooms where also in diplorable condition. The only thing this place has going for them is a friendly staff.
