I eat there at least 3-4 times when i'm in town.
Warning: Do not order the chicken salad unless you're intent on cornering the market on mayonnaise. When we asked the manager on duty for help, her answer was a curt, "That's our recipe".

This review is for the Geckos on State Road 64 in Bradenton.
My husband and I had lunch at this Geckos the first week it was opened for business and have had lunch or dinner there at least once a week since then, except when we were out of town.

Gecko's has the best scrumptous food around. The wait staff are wonderful and the surrounds are great. I have never had anything I didn't like there. Very reasonably priced.
the food was good except the soup and gumbo were barely warm. the quantity was good but the value was average. service was great. Would go again.
If you are looking for a great Mexican dinner at a very reasonable price, El Adobe fits the bill.
We loved Hemingways! A cozy balcony is perfect for a cozy evening dinner overlooking St. Armand' Circle. We dined there regularly until the prices climbed out of sight. Regretably, we have crossed Hemingway's off of our list until their prices justify another visit.
Great lunch value --- more than you can eat for about half the price of elsewhere.
This used to be a favorite, but recently, you've over-priced us. Sorry, we probably won't be back for a long time unless your menu changes.

Always busy --- always great food... a little over-priced.
Still the best authentic Mexican in Sarasota. Dining area is FAR too cold - always.
If you want to just kick back and eat great pizza with no pretence, here's the place.
NOT fast food as indicated in the introduction, nor should it be --- excellent food, atmosphere, service all around. Excellent combo offering at lunch (select 2 of soup, 1/2 cuban, or soup). A must-go every time we're in Sarasota.
Definetly the best restaurant on Saint Armands Circle, possibly the best in all of Sarasota. Atmosphere is charming especially the dining room with the brick arches and mirrors.
