Reasonably good food, but certainly overrated in my opinion . . . steaks are good but not excellent . . . pricing is too high . . . overall, good choice, not great, too high a price . . .
For many years this has been the old school place for steak in Portland. The interior is dark and woody with vintage 50's character without being kitchy. People boast of the Ringside's onion rings and a terrific late-night happy hour in the cozy bar.
The food is exceptional, the place is still unknown so you can get in without a fight. The only drawback is you can tell that they are working out some kinks in the service department. But the main thing is its reasonably priced and the food is excellent.
Order the dates! Oh my GOD they are amazing!
Just ate here for the second time. I'm so impressed! Hands down, the best Chinese I've had in the Portland area.
We have been going to Si Senior for years and it's our favorite!! Family run and feels like it. They make you feel like you are family also! They are the best!!
They allow smoking ( atleast until 01/09) and there is just some tall furniture to seperate smoking from none. This was the second time here 1st time ( during lunch hour) was fine burger was great! Second time the service was not so good (dinner time, and they were slow) My wife ordered a salad wit...
i think that old spaghetti factory is the best restaurant that i have ever beeing into. and thanks for thr good service. and as for the chief he or she is good cook too. as for the rest of the employees they are nice too.
Excellent!! Great food and great staff!
Food is good and the portions are big. Priced very reasonable. Service is quick. Staff lacks personality and the place needs to be remodeled
its clean, affordable, wild fish, natural chicken and some bbq to die for
I had the catfish, fries, coleslaw dish. The seasoning or whatever they put in the fish is remarkable. I also ordered a side of greens. Please who ever is the cook for this place, keep that person. Now I really have a place to call home. I am from Georgia, my mother is not in Portland. And I dont ha...
Wild abandon has been in the neighborhood as long as we have, and we never tire of it! The food is always top - rate, the servers are always knowledgable, and it's always relaxing and fun- even when it's busy. I cannot recommend Wild Abandon highly enough. It's success is no mistake.
my experience is every time i go in there is a different chef so called chef the food is going down hill
I've been going there for the last 5 yrs and they have only had 3 chefs, the last one was the worst. I stopped going there as much because of the wanna-be-chef put the whole staff on pins and needles. The owner had his hands full... The kitchen staff they have now are awesome probably the best they'...
The new Chef Robert Erickson is doing a fantastic job! He has a new menu, new kitchen staff, and his food is world class! Where did they find this guy anyway! This restaurant is on the rise. We live in the neighborhood and have been going to WD for years the food has always been good and we love Stuart (the owner),and I've only known of 4 chefs in 5+ yrs the last one (his name was Ken I think) was a decent "cook" but not a true chef and he seemed to be an angry person. He's been replace...
The new Chef, Robert Erickson is doing some amazing things in that kitchen! All of a sudden this restaurants food is right there with ANY of the finest in Portland. His lamb is the best in the city. Fantastic food by Chef Zac, optimum young chef, great professional, humble and smart. Extremely nice owner, a really pleasant experience. Much more than simply a dinner! And this is a comment from a colleague, Italian chef!!!!! Try his scallops, they really rock!!!!!!!!!!
