The food is awesome especially the onion rings. Make sure you get some when you go there. You will wanting more. Their burgers are the best and always done to perfection.
Youell love Youell's! What a great find. After inquiring where to go for a good seafood dinner, all roads led to Youell's Oyster House. We've been back many times to work our way through the menu. Fresh oysters and clams can't be any better at the shore. Crabmeat dishes are superior to those I'...

The food was low quality (less quality than diner food) and very expensive. The salad was spread out on the plate to look big, and then the chicken was so thin (like a sliver) that for a $15 chicken caesar salad, I think I could have gotten more at mcdonalds. They try to act high end so they can c...
Expensive and not very good. salid bar could have been much better. Waitress did not have any personality. Not a kid friendy place...no kid menu and bar like atmosphere. Potatoe skins i ordered were horrible. Had a crab dish which was over cooked and tough. Place is small, felt jammed in. Would not ...
Three words: Soft Shell Crabs. They are simply the best I have ever had. All of the other seafood (quite a large selection) is fresh and very good. Some unique items such as Paella and Bouillabaisse. We love the free oyster during happy hour.

The service is just terrible. It ruins everything. I have been here for dinner about 5 times now. Food is very good. The place needs to be cleaned. There is one waitress who is just so rude and cold, the couple at another table were ready to leave! They ate and ran. I go knowing I will be treat...

If you had never eaten at Werts before you better get there fast. If you dont u will be missing out on a lot of great food expecily the ONION RINGS.
We had our annual Easter weekend meal at Youells while visiting family back home. Year to year Youells has remained consistently great at offering fresh seafood at reasonable prices, in a comfortable atmosphere. We love the oysters and clams, as we do not get them in the mid-west. Sorry we were a...

loved the environment, loved the food..the setting very familar and inviting and the service is great, they all were very genuine and hospitable. will definitly return..
Terrific neighborhood restaurant. We enjoy dining at Youell's Oyster House monthly prior to attending the symphony or theatre. It is casual fine dining, reasonably priced - a great value for the high quality of food prepared. We prefer Youell's to any seafood house found along the east coast - an...
The ONLY place for seafood in the area. Our family has had consistently positive experiences at Youells. We love the crab dishes, but have not been disapointed with anything on the menu.
The restaurant is a fantastic place to eat. The food is always cooked to bliss and the environment is fantastic. Brian Krans, the new owner, is a fabulous chef who handles the pressure of large parties and many dinners while perfecting each meal. Service is quick, and the waitresses are friendly. Sm...
Our party of 8 was celebrating a birthday recently and enjoyed a spectacular meal at Youell's. I read with some amusement (although the owners probably did not find it funny!) the previous review, because we were in the same nite and thoroughly enjoyed many of the same items that were complained ab...
Extremely disappointed! Mussels were "blown-up" and out of the shell, covered in black muck. The lobster was charbroiled, literally black edged and tougher than steak. Shrimp appeared freezer burned, dry and tough. When complaint was aired, the offer was free dessert for a completely ruined $100...
A great palce to dine. Never had a bad meal. But the restaurant is small and there is no nonsmoking section. They don't need a nonsmoking section. It certianly wouldn't hurt their business to eliminate smoking.

Wert's Cafe is a nice place and has great food. Maybe pricey, but well worth it. I eat there because of the environment and I relly enjoy the people there. Hard to find a pleasent spot like that in Allentown.
What a great dining experience my family and I had last week at this restaurant. The extensive food and wine menues have something for everyone. Their specials are out of this world! This isn't just a spagetti & meatballs Italian restaurant (even though they have that and the meatballs are HUGE!). T...

If you want a great, fresh, charbroiled burger at a reasonable price, then go to Shakewells. It is much, much better than a frozen patty and comes on a Malone's roll. I am going again today, 01/30/08. I try to get there weekly because it is that good.
Great meal and enjoyable evening. I enjoyed the "Drunken Mussels" (steamed in dark beer with shallots, dijon and a touch of cream) and the "Bouillabaisse with 1/2 Maine Lobster" from the Chef's menu. My date ordered the "Creole Crabcake". All jumbo lump crabmeat and no filler. Just enough ingred...
