If you want wonderful food, prepared with fresh & tasty ingredients, served by an attentive waitstaff, in a warm & inviting atmosphere, you must go to Emma's! Chef/owner Eddie couldn't be friendlier, you are made to feel like a family member when you walk in the door to this lovely Mayfair gem. Ampl...
We wanted to try a BYOB restaurant close by so we purchased a certificate on groupon. Not only was the service excellent, but our meal was incredibly delicious!! We typically drive into town when we want good tasting authentic food...this was amazing without the drive or hassel of parking! I would ...
Have great pizza steaks. Have a great tasting inside out pizza Great special on 3 med pizzas - which is perfect when we have unexpected company.

OMG just thinking about their ribs & roasted chicken makes me hungry! I stop here on my way home from work, and I absolutely love their smoked meats and sauces. Always order extra so I have some leftovers & I have eaten it for breakfast lunch and dinner many times!
Fiesta is a great place for delicious informal dining at an affordable price. They offer a wide selection of sandwiches- both hot and cold, salads, and side orders as well as tasty pizza, stromboli, and burgers. The service is great also. Check it out!
If you are looking for excellent food and superior service, then the Fountain is where you want to go. Be prepared to spend a small fortune. I recently visited the Fountain and with top shelf cocktails, wine, champagne, and a six course meal I spent about $200 per person. Worth every penny!
on a recent trip to Philly to to catch a couple of ball games a small group of us happened upon Fratelli's. We went in for a drink and some lunch. Well, lunch was so good we decided to have dinner that evening before the game. Everyone was more than happy with our meals. The wait staff was superb,we...
This restaurant is one of my favorites in the city. It has the ambience for any romantic and the upscale class to please those who want to get away from the more crowded establishments. One flaw that it has is that it is small. Conversations can be heard because tables are close together. But ot...
Excellent Sushi! Great Sushi Bar. Sushi chefs are dazzling. Make a reservation for the Sushi Bar.

Located on Main Street in Manyunk, Hikaru is a great choice for sushi. I have eaten at this place twice and both times, the food has been great. I have tried various kinds of sushi and rolls as well as a vegetable entree and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The authentic Japanes...
One on the worst dining experiences I ever had in my life. My wife and I went on a slow Wednesday night 10 June 2009. The server gave us corn bread that tasted like it was at least a day old when we asked her to replace it with some fresh corn bread she replied "that they are making some fresh corn...
The voodoo shrimp was tasteless... the salad was gritty... the greens, macaroni and chesse were horrible. I chose take-out, so I wasn't aware until I got home that they did not include any barbeque sauce for my ribs, which most definitely needed sauce. The salad dressing was good.
Food was authentic bbq - not the "smoke-in-a-bottle" stuff you get at similar rib joints. The menu was awesome with moderately priced entrees of smoked items like ribs, brisket, chicken, etc., and lots of other items that I can't wait to try such as seafood, pasta and a huge assortment of appetizer...

My wife and I ate at the Hot Potato a number of times. We love the food and service. The excellant food and service has been consistent. The waiters/employees are very friendly. The restaurant appears to be very clean with a clean restroom. The kitchen is one doorway from the dining area. Also, all ...

better than average food. pleasant service.dark oldtime chinese decor. kidfriendly also moderate prices.
It has changed owners ( and I believe it's name is now A K Peking Duck House). We always ate at Joe's when we went to Chinatown. We tried eating at the restaurant that replace it and were very disappointed.
Excellent food and service. Restaurant extremely small but clean and cheerful. Some of the freshest and best Chinese food anywhere.

Amazingly tasty food but the ambience of the restaurant is not what i was looking for. You get food over the counter when its ready after placing the order. There are no people to serve you the food so everything has to be done by oneself.
After reading the review from Greg Trout, I will not eat at this restaurant, and will in fact mention that review to other aquaintences. That should not happen to anyone. I appreciate that he was willing to write that review.
