Aside from Sambino's on Peach Orchard Pkwy, it's the best pizza/sub place Sumter has to offer. The gyro/Greek salad combo is reliable, too.

My dining experience at Wards bbq was one of great satisfaction. Wards has some of the best bbq in the country.The flavor of there bbq is like no other, the Hash and Rice iststanding.when on vacation and traveling through South Carolina people should stop in Sumter to try Wards bbq
Outback Steakhouse is a perfect example of a well run reastuarant. The food was esquisite is was delicious and all their empolyees know the meaning of customer service. They have well mannered young people that are employed there and are very well respected.
Wow, the food is wonderful. Great service, friendly atmosphere! I had a turkey cooked by them and it was one of the best we have ever tasted.
Nice place to have a drink and meal. Stuffed shrimp and bacon wrapped shrimp are great! Tonic and ginger ale taste strange, so save the gin and tonics, and jack and gingers for later. Staff and customers are friendly. Private club!
BEST CHINESE FOOD I'VE EVER HAD! And I don't usually like Chinese food. I go there at least once a week! The service is fast, the whole resturant is clean, the food is hot and the people are just sooo kind!
Shuckers is a great place to hang out with friends, shoot pool, enjoy some great food, and some great entertainment on weekends. It is a private bar, though so you need to buy a membership.
One of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever been to. For lunch it's only $5.25 and you can surely can get your money's worth out of it. Highly recommended.

Ward's BBQ is the best BBQ I've had in South Carolina and my family & I have been eating there for as long as I can remember. I live in Columbia now and there is no place here that compares to Ward's in Sumter. When I visit my parents we normally have BBQ from Ward's and the staff all know my dad ...

Always great food and service...
A must do for the food lover. Great subs and dishes. Service is alway with a smile.
Service was about like the food. Very little of either seemed to happen unless you where at the bar.

Always good hot food and nice service.
I was very unpleased and will drive to Columbia or Florence next time I wish to eat at Outback. My steak was medium rare...not...it looked like it spent the week on the "barbie" and the service was overall BAD.

We have ordered take out from "Ann's" Countryside Dinner multiple times. All I can say is it's like grandma's house. The cooking is always good and she will not let you go home hungry.
