After hearing about the automatic tip SCAM, I will never eat there again. Pay your people a fair wage and stop ripping customers off in order to pay your staff. I guess the extra couple of dollars you got was worth all the lost customers and bad press huh- good move
after hearing the story on the news that these people held hostage thier customers for not paying a tip...then called the cops on them....when they were willing to pay for thier meal....this is criminal....people...no one should have to pay for any more than what they are purchasing....which is food...
i can not review this restaurant as i will never eat there. to set a manditory gratuity is uncalled for. if a customer does not feel their service warrants a certain percentage they sould have the opportunity to address the issue with management. remember the customer is ALWAYS right
After reading the artical of you locking in customers for not paying the tip. First let me say 17% for parties of 5 or more is robbery. And second the manager should have listened to them about bad service. I will make sure that I never darken your door step.
