Hi everyone, I am the manager of Rice & Spice and I would like to respond to the last post. There has always been a manager on duty and nothing like what the pervious reviewer said has ever happened. We are a family owned and operated restaurant and if I wasn’t there then it would be my mom or grandmother.
First of all, our servers would never speak to a guest like that. I also found it offensive that the reviewer stereotyped Asians by saying that their server said “go sit in front.” But that’s a different topic…. Funny though, the restaurant doesn’t have a front section and all our servers speak English pretty well.
In addition, even though it can get busy during our lunch buffet, our customers are all served water unless they ask for something else.
And flies? C’mon… if the restaurant had such an infestation, we obviously would not open it the public.
I don’t understand how anyone could fabricate such a story… or want to for that matter…
But why spend your time reading reviews when you can check us out for yourself! Then… if you aren’t happy with our food or service, please talk to the manager. However, if you LOVE Thai food, I GUARANTEE that you will love our restaurant.
Since our opening of Rice & Spice, we have had much support from the community. We are proud to serve Holland. I would also like to thank you everyone and anyone who has tried us.
