Overall, dining here was great. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, the food well prepared. The plank floors where you are expected to drop your peanut shells add to the friendly atmosphere.
We've been there three times in the last two months. The food was well prepared for the most part. The first time there we both had chicken salads and they were great, the next time not so much.
The quality was the same, but the quantity had drastically changed. We went from a full half breast of grilled chicken to six small pieces. Talking to the the wait staff got us a ten percent discount and the comment that they always ask for extra chicken.
The three stars for the food was not because it was mediocre, but the inconsistency of the portions.

New owners have really cleaned this place up and it felt so welcoming. The staff seemed anxious to serve.
The N Y Strip dinner I had was done just to my specifications and everything seemed fresh and good., the portions was plentiful and no room for dessert.
My friend had a seafood meal and was equally pleased.
We will be going back soon
