I ate at the Rusty Barrell on two ocassions in 2008 and found it to be quite over-rated by the locals. Having eaten at many a steak-house it was only average. It has a intriguing history as a speakeasy and is a favorite of the locals. Of course there is no where else to eat a decent steak for about 90 miles, so thus the popularity.

My steak was way undercooked and it took forever to get my food.

The food was excellent, my steak was cooked perfectly. There was a wide variety to choose from on the menu. The service was excellent!!
