Restaurant Description
This is one of the best restaurants in downtown Dallas. The cuisine is what the restaurant's name implies, eastern cuisine with a touch of west. Food is primarily Vietnamese with a western twist. The combination of cilantro, basil, chopped peanuts and lime juice in many of their dishes makes the food light and tasty. The papaya salad is excellent as well as the grilled lemongrass beef on top of cold vermicelli and served with seasoned fish sauce. Daily soups are always excellent, especially the creamy, milk based chicken corn soup. For those who don't like asian food, there's always the sure bet salmon grilled in to a perfection in a tasty sauce and served on top of delicious spinach fettucini and gilled veggies. Entrees come with soup or salad and dessert for a very reasonable $8 - $10. Service is impeccable.

Food is excellent. Eastern influence with a western twist. Combination of fresh herbs and seasonings like basil, cilantro, chopped peanuts make entrees tasty and light. Lemon grass beef on vermicelli and papaya salad are excellent. Also, the grilled salmon with spinach fettucini. Try the eye-opener iced coffee served freshly brewed right at your table. Service is impeccable. Soup or salad and dessert included with entrees all for reasonable prices.
