This is one of my favorite places for family!!!
Once you have a slice of Sal's Pizza, you'll never go anywhere else! Fresh ingredients, always hot! On second visit, Lucy, one of the owners, calls you by name. Try the Buffalo Chicken wings, but ask for "Lucy's Buffalo Chicken Wings--outstanding! The Italian Wedding Soup is the best I've ever had. What's better than watching Sal and his son, Paul make your pizza, grinders, calzones and salads? Listening to their stories; how they envelop, wrap and welcome you into their lives.

the pizza is okay, i think locals deffinatly exaggerate on this page, but honestly, its the best pizza you'll find in south windsor. if you're really looking for good clam pizza, go to pepe's in new haven on wooster st. other than their clam pizza, they're okay. if you want phenomonal all around pizza go to modern pizza in new haven. that's the best pizza in CT guaranteed. all in all, modern pizza is amazing, pepe's is pretty good, and sals is pretty good as well if you're looking for fast, friendly service and a quick bite to eat.

The Pizza is amazing...If you have not tried it yet you need to! They serve slices all day and all night long.. Thin crust, hand tossed new york style pizza. Their pizza stix are awesome and their service is fast and friendliest. Def five star restaurant!!!
