I don't see why its so hard for a restaurant to handle seperate checks for a group of people. They had one check and had us come to the bar and tell the person what we had and they scratched it off as we paid. There ended up being extra items on the bill and the last person to pay, had to cover the extra items totaling $15. Did the customers forget to pay for everything they got? or did the waitress have extra items on the bill? The food and drink items ordered were not listed, only amounts, so who knows. If each customer had gotten their own bill, the restaurant would know what they were charging for and the customers would know what they were paying for. It's not that hard to do seperate checks. If we had sat at different tables, we would have gotten our own checks. Just because we are sitting at the same table is no reason to make things more difficult for the customer, just to make it (supposedly) easier for the waitress. Our group (usually 15-20 people) go out to eat together a lot. We usually call ahead and make sure seperate checks will be available. If they are not, we go elsewhere. We very much regret not checking this out ahead of time at Salsa's
Carlos O'Kelly's is my all-time FAVORITE place to go out to dinner. I just love the food and the atmosphere. Everybody is so friendly. I just love it there.
