Last time we were here (2002?)place was packed, menu was fabulous - on the progressive side with some aolis, pestos, creative sauces, fresh oysters, full bar, great service. This time was just plain weird. There was 1 other couple there. We opted to sit on the deck which has a great view of Salt Point and a very pretty garden. We were given our drinks..water and lemonade. We really wanted a couple beers having been on the road for nearly 3 hours and were going to park ouselves for an hour but they did not have liquor license. We were left for over 25 minutes until I finally walked back inside and told them we had to leave. A nice girl immediately got things into gear for us and we had our meal within a few minutes but to wait 30 minutes for a sandwich was totally unreasonable. Very limited menu. Limited choice of bread for sandwiches...actually...you could only have a bun. An organic bun for your sandwich. It was a white bread. Another couple came, looked at the menu asked for a beer (as we had) and left. There is no liquor as at present. I would hope they get this as soon as possible as at least having that might increase business and inspire them to expand their menu and service.
