My wife and I have traveled to all five continents. We know good food and the difference with fast food. We ate at Sharkey's Seafood Restaurant for two years in a row. Last year was a depressing fish and chips experience which we both wanted to forget. This year, it was recommended to us by the local chamber of commerce, although the two women manning the counter readily admitted that they had not eaten fried clam strips at this restaurant, even though they had lived in Summerside for all of their lives!
The meal turned out to be the worst garbage we have ever eaten! Three pounds of mushy french fries with 6 ounces of fried clams which had zero taste! It was the most horrific meal ever! Hands down! If you want to experience the worst meal in your life - then do not hesitate - this is the place. No wonder there is a for sale sign OF $175,000 CAD or for lease on the building!
