My friends, family, and I have eaten at Sher-A-Punjab many, many times. The food is always consistently good, fresh, and plentiful. It is authentic tasting, and always has Indian and Pakistani diners eating there - which speaks highly of the foods' authenticity and quality. The freshly made naans are wonderful, as is the Tandoori chicken - and the buffet hits the spot - with something on it for everyone - be they fussy adults or equally fussy kids. In my opinion, the spice level could be a bit higher, but I guess they try to appeal to the average American palate. Lastly, the desserts are wonderful - especially the Gulab Jamuns - superb. The price is right as well, whether you go there for the lunch or dinner buffet - it a bargain. We always head to Sher-A-Punjab when we are all craving Indian food - much more pleasant than driving to Devon Ave.. The staff is most attentive, and the owner, Mr. Gupta, is charming. All-in-all a great choice and a great value. Truly yummy!
