We always plan a stop at Sher-E-Punjab when visiting Lincoln. The delicious spinach naan is unlike anything I have had elsewhere. The ginger-laden dal is wonderful. The chicken korma is reliably great, the lamb dishes are tender and spicy. If you are lucky the special of the day will be Gosht Akbahr, a wonderful dish with lamb, nuts, dried fruits, and spices. I especially like being able to order veggie side dishes to accompany a meat-based meal.
Best Indian food in Lincoln, or anywhere else I have had. Excellent breads and incredible dishes. Others in town are good, but The Oven is hands down the best.
