Outstanding asian food both at the restaurant and when delivered to our home and very fast delivery. When delivered it always comes hot just like when we go to the restaurant. Very fresh with the vegetables crunchy and hot. Excellant sushi and other asian dishes. Highky recomend this neighborhood gem.

Your right, the menu has not changed much, the food is still inedible. Four people had dinner with
me and every one complained of the poor quality of meat in both chicken and beef dishes, literally
it could not be chewed. I cannot believe I returned after my last experience at the Armitage location
which would frighten any restaurant goer (rodents). I will never return and feel obligated to deter
anyone else from experiencing "shine." - Concerned neighbor

It's not your average Asian hangout. It offers a great dining area, but if you prefer eating at home or at work, they deliver, too. Their specialty menu item is their Lo Mein noodles described as, "not slimy, yet still satisfying" in reference to the ...

I've eaten at the buffet a number of times in recent months and I love the food. The food all tastes very fresh and it's very good. Wish I could go there now.

I have eaten here on many an occasion and have always had a great experience. Shine Garden is unique in that it combines Chinese and Japanese cuisine. This pleases both my boyfriend and myself since he is a sushi enthusiast and I am not. However, Shine Garden makes an incredible tempura. I have never had anything as delicate or addictive. The service is always top rate and the atmosphere quiet and relaxing. I think it's hard to find good Asian cuisine in Chicago other than Chinatown, Shine Garden being the exception.
