a diner from Walnut
We heard about this restaurant after purchasing gift certificate from restaurant.com and thought to give it a try. After we were seated at the table and showed the gift certificate coupon, the waitress said they do not accept the certificate and showed a small handwritten sign on the wall. Then she said do you still want to eat or leave. Since we have two senior citizens with us, we decided to stay to eat. The service was slow although only less than half of the place was full. We ordered soup but came after two main dishes and had to inquire what happen to the soup. There were a few people that came with restaurant.com gift certificate and were told the same as us. I will not go back to a restaurant that offers the gift certificate but does not honor it. Also, restaurant.com should not be selling the gift certificate that is not honored by this restaurant.
