I went to Sir Scotts while opn vacation in Big Sky. A vendor there suggested when I went back through Bozeman that I try Sir Scotts'... boy was that good advice. I am 61 and have eaten a variety of foods all over the world. Sir Scotts was undoubtedly the best. I had the Ribeye and my girlfriend had the Bar Sirloin. They were fabulous. I encouraged the staff to have the owner et up a web based marketing so customers from outsdie the area could enjoy their food. The staff were real pros - they were effcient , informed and upbeat. The ambience of the place was great as well. Not some fancy Capitol Grille type place, but a country type setting without a lot of frills. The prices were beyond resonable - it was $49.50 for the two of us and I would have paid $150, without hesitation, for a meal that good. If I ever gop back to Bozeman, my first stop is Sir Scotts'

I thoroughly enjoyed the food. The steak and shrimp was wonderful along with the cheesecake with huckleberry topping. However, the waitress informed us that the dessert was included in the meal, but we ended up having to pay for it. I was a little ir

You can't go wrong with the Land of Magic! I take all of my out of town guests to this place and it is always a pleaser. Their soups are homemade and the twice baked potato is amazing. My favorite is the steak sandwhich or top sirloin!
We had a wonderful experience at Land of Magic just last Sat. night. We were traveling through and were told at our motel that everything closes early so he phoned the owner of Land of Magic and asked if she would stay open to give us some food. Sh

This is a casual atmosphere with great steaks! Walk in after a day on the river, or as a special occassion. The staff is friendly, you feel like you are at gramma's house. It's NOT FANCY, it's Comfortable and embodies real Montana. Prices are great, lots of food, you won't go away hungry, and will have leftovers for your sack lunch tomorrow!

The best beef anywhere. I would recommend it highly.
My visit was one I won't soon forget. After hearing how the owner handles Ted and Jane, I wish I could eat here everyday! From one vet to another, keep doing what your doing. Your place is top shelf no matter how long the wait!

I only booked this place because of all the rave reviews, I now realize that these reviews were based on quantity NOT quality. I was a little put off by the lack of a website with at least a sample menu and pictures of the inside, well now I know why. This place is dark, noisy and smokey from the connected bar. The tables are covered with plastic and the steak isn't even that good. If all you're interested in is huge portions then this is the place for you, but if you're looking for quality food in a nice, clean, child friendly environment, I suggest you avoid this place like the plague.

Make a reservation or you probably won't be able to get in; and that goes for any night of the week. This is now the top steak house I have ever been to....anyplace! Great rib steak at a very reasonable price.
I have traveled 13000 kilometers from New Zealand to eat in the Oasis, twice! This is one of the great dining experiences. The place is totally unpretentious and a slice of "Real America". Magnificent steaks very well prepared and huge quantities. Waiters are friendly and it would seem the whole town from grand parents to ankle biters eats there all the time. My favourite has to be the prime rib done rare. Downsides - well the wine list is a little sparse and the staff don't have much of an idea as to what the wines are. But for anyone who wants to experience a piece of Americana with some downright friendly people and some superb steaks just get on a plane, fly for 12 hours, suffer all the indignities that LAX security do to you and head up to Bozeman and find the Oasis.
