After reading another review on this site I walked into Sonny's expecting the best BBQ I have had since I have been house. As I walked in the door the familiar smell of BBQ overtook me. I had walked in on a wed at about 3 in the afternoon. Besides me there were two other tables there. It took about 5 min for someone to come over and seat me. They quickly returned after I requested my diet soda. I had a chance while they were gone to look over the menu, there was a rather large selection to choose from, I was getting hungry. I quickly ordered my pulled pork and was greedily waiting for it to arrive at my table. About 15 min later my food finnally made it to my table, the waitress droped it off and dissappeared without so much as asking if I would like a refill on my soda, which had already been empty for awhile. I was not all too concerned concidering that my food was there and I was getting increasingly hungry. As I do with all bbq I taste it before I put anysauce on, that is where my problem with this restaurant started. It was cardboard with a little flavor. I mean this was the driest, worst tasting pulled pork that I have had since tring pulled pork at a fastfood restaurant. The seasonings were weak, the meat was dry. This is not a place I would ever eat again after getting the responce of well next time you will trysomething different, with an air of distain. I will continue to go to BubbaLous BBQ, where the BBQ is right and the service my not be top notch but they continue to care for their customers and put out a great product at a very reasonable price.
