I love this restaurant......by far the best food, best service, best ambience, and accomodating when we bring our 3 year old in. I love that they have eclectic choices (loved the Sam Adams fondue....so yummy). The food is always delicious.....I get disappointed when I visit other restaurants in their category because they have definitely raised the bar!!

On a reunion of my brothers, we choose this restaurant on reputation and convenience of locations for all parties. We have now decided that this place with be our permanent meeting place when we are in the area. The staff were friendly and the food was the best from the salad to the cappacino. We have been to restaurants in Pittsburgh, New York and Chicago and this rates top of our list.
Its not easy finding good Italian food in this town but theirs is good. The pasta sauce is one of the best in town. Not as good as mine but its good for a restaurant. I have to believe the one star ratings have come from their competition because the

The food is great and if you consider what else is in our area I should have given it straight five stars! Nothing else in this town compares. Value, service and food, all great! They even give you great service when calling and coming in to pick up

Employee review: I have been a part of the Rusty' s work crew for over one year. We ( the staff) have many complaints about where the money we make goes. Servers tip out at the end of the night to the buss boy every night . Money has been discovered

We had always heard wonderful things about Springfield Grille. It wasn't bad... it just wasn't what we'd heard it made out to be. We probably won't be back.

I am from Pittsburgh and my cousins live in Cleveland.Because I had been to the grill above Grove city outlets, I recommended that we meet at the Springfield Grill in Boardman for dinner. (1 hour drive for each). We do this often and absolutely love our experience there. Great food, great service, no hurry and wonderful atmoshere. We call these our "border dinners" . My cousin calls them the border crossing dinners, because I have to cross the state line.I am hoping to do a border lunch on Friday. Can't wait to be there. Day Boyd - Pittsburgh We generally order too much. It is soooo good. I meet my brother and family at the Grove city restaurant. So accomodating

A true dining experience. Really enjoy this place. Have dined here at least 60 times in the last 2 years. Only one bad dish- the house salad had too much vinegar. Two complementary tickets appeared before the end of dinner with a visit from the owner. Very nice place and the lunch menu is a steal!

This establishment, in my opinion, hands down has the best overall service, quality and atmoshpere of any restaraunt in the Mahoning Valley. The prices vs. food quality is unmatched.
Why would I spend the same $$ at Outback or Applebees on a mediocre Fillet, when the price at Springfield is equal to or less than them and the atmosphere is the level of Mortons or Ruths Chris.
There is no argument for that. Value, Quality, Atmosphere vs. the other restaraunts... forget it. There is only one choice, The Springfield Grill.
I have traveled all over the country and be assured that this place is a diamond in the rough. Even big cities with high proced dining would find it hard to compete with Springfield.
If you have not eaten there, you should.

This was the worst dining experience my husband and I have ever had. We were not even halfway through our salad when our dinners arrived, 15 minutes too early, then having to waituntil our waitress finally brought them back as they had been sitting under a warming light that whole time, drying medallions of what was supposed to be filet minon, turning them to shoe leather. The food itself was not of high end restaurant quality. The chicken marsala tasted as if it came out of a can of chef boyardee. I told the waitress of our displeasure, with little response except for a cold, "how dare you complain" attitude. We then left the food and will never again return to this restaurant. Cold, arrogant service, food brought too early and served dry and almost inedible. Our overall experience should be a rating of 0 stars. We will be sure to pass on to as many people as possible how deplorably horrible our experience, the food and the service was in what is supposed to be a high end restaurant in this area.

I've eaten at some great restaurants from Honolulu to Pittsburgh and Springfield Grill is definitely one of the best. The food and the service are impressive. You won't be disappointed.
