Restaurant Description
Linda and Carroll Humphrey opened Springhill in 1985. The atmosphere they created, with antiques covering walls and ceilings and the tables with advertisements laminated into the tops, fits the small town atmosphere that was Pflugerville 20 years ago. Linda believes the longevity of the restaurant is due to the consistency of the menu and their treatment of customers as if they are family.
As their ad says, if you love seafood, you'll be in heaven here. The choices include fried or grilled catfish fillets, shrimp, oysters or the seafood feast which includes gumbo, shrimp, oysters and catfish. Other favourites are the Chicken Fried Steak and Chicken Fried Chicken. Both are served with creamy country gravy, French fries and Texas toast. The Hamburger Baskets are huge, juicy burgers served with hand cut fries.

Could be quaint, but meals served on plastic plates and plastic forks, knives, and spoons. Price is high for quality.
I found this restaurant to be dirty - a lot of dust everywhere and gum under the table. Poor kid menu. Waitress disappeared and didn't come to the table enough. Food was nothing to brag about.

I found this restaurant to be dirty - a lot of dust everywhere and gum under the table. Poor kid menu. Waitress disappeared and didn't come to the table enough. Food was nothing to brag about.
