my husband and i love this restaurant and we only had to wait for about 15 minutes but thats alright because steak n shake isnt a fast food service restaurant and we did get our condiments but only because we saw the sign that said "condiments upon request"

My wife and I stopped at the Steak & Shake in Joplin, MO on our way home from a recent trip. I ordered a Frisco Melt and she ordered a Chicken Chef Salad. We had to wait over 30 minutes for this to-go order. The Chicken Chef Salad was missing the chicken. The Frisco Melt was on bread (not toasted sourdough), and didn't include condiments. We are normally huge fans of Steak & Shake, but were very unimpressed with this store.
