Since they have moved to the new location, it seems that the quality of the food and service has dropped.I've tried them several times, hoping things would improve with the training of the cooks and wait staff. They have lost me. I ate weekly at their original location.Seems when places remodel, down goes the quality and up goes the price to pay for the loan.

i ordered the veal parmesan and it was not very good. although it was tender it was definately processed and the breading was easily seperated from the meat.I found myself doing some seperating. plus they drenched it in sauce. the portion was large but who cared it wasnt good. my wife fared better with her food. she had a pasta florentine. she said it was good. i think if you stick with the greek dishes they offer here you'll do better. but still i really was dissapointed.

I have been to this establishment several times over the years and the food is good, but the service is highly questionable. I've been in the restaurant industry for over 22 years and we have been disappointed in the way we were treated here. I asked for crispy bacon - it looked like it was barely cooked; asked for a refill on water twice - never got it; had to go up to the counter to ask for a to-go container, the bill and change for a $20. If you get a to-go order - make sure you double check it - have had problems in the past with that too. I haven't been at this place for over 8 mos. thinking things would change, but that doesn't seem to be the case. LOL

Everytime we travel to Syracuse from North Carolina, Steak and Sundae is alway our first stop. We love the food, the people and the way you can be in a resturant and feel like you are home. We hop eit never changes!

This is a fine family restaurant with good food and very reasonable prices. Their Open Steak Sandwich is a prime example of their name. A 16 oz. NYS Strip Steak on garlic toast with choice of Soup or Salad, and a choice of Potatoes or Pasta. Price under $10.00. I have this special often, and have yet to receive a bad steak, and they have always been cooked as I requested them - a perfect medium rare. They offer a good variety of special dishes every day. Note: They do not accept credit cards.
