Decided to try out the Steeles Deli Restaurant after hearing many good reviews. Popped in for lunch on a Tuesday, business was brisk but not overwhelming. Ordered the Corned Beef on Rye and the daily soup, which was beef Barley. Soup came hot and was very hearty...could have been a meal onto itself. Corned Beef Sandwich was large, tasty and melted in your mouth...they also have susans hot mustard which i havent had in years. Service was quick and friendly. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

On April 17 2008 I ate at Steeles Deli, my homefries and onionrings were cooked in old oil. My sandwich was very dry. The overall meal was poor. When I got home I had to go to the washroom to throw up. I told the waitress that the frying oil need changing. Her reply was, "it was changed today" I'm writing this review 3 hours later and still not feeling well.
