Park City Restaurant Guide

Sushi Maru offers a traditional Japanese dining experience with a modern flair in the midst of the Wasatch Mountains in Park City, Utah. Head chef and owner Michael Aguilar-Okumura and his culinary team prepare menu items from the abundance of fresh seafood flown in from the west coast and Japan. Sushi Maru has offered delicious food and a spectacular ambiance since 2004.

Our Tatami Room

In Japanese-style restaurants or Japanese homes, you don't sit on chairs, around a high table as you do in the West. Instead you squat down on the ta-ta-mi (straw mat floor). This is known as za-shi-ki seating, and is great fun, especially when dining in a large group. Our tatami room can accommodate parties up to 20 people and reservations are recommended. Remember to take off your shoes before stepping into the room. Shoe boxes are provided and located under the sho-ji doors.

Sushi Maru is located just off Park Avenue, in the same complex as Albertson's and the Holiday Village Movie Theater.
