Restaurant Description

Tango Baires Café is one of those rare finds, you will be blown away with the flavor, service and atmosphere. Upon walking in you will be greeted warmly and allowed to sit anywhere you would like whether it is outside or indoors. You will be treated like one of the family, while you dine the staff asks how you are doing and may sit and chat with you and the regulars will sit across from you and have no problem telling you what is good and what will knock your socks off. The food is by far some of the best in town for the price. For the cheap price you will be bombarded with an explosion of flavor. From fresh baked bread, sweetbreads to the Argentine Style Bar-B-Q there is no shortage of flavor in each dish and the portions are plentiful with everything made fresh from scratch. We look forward to seeing you soon!

First off, let me say to you that this place among all others in the surrounding cities has won my heart completely. I'm a regular obviously Small, family owned, consistent in its high quality and standards, fresh ingredients never overly fussed with, straight forward and authentic food and genuine lovely owners; in all honesty what more could you ask for? Great wine perhaps? Yes, why yes, they have that. Delicious desserts perhaps? Why yes, you will find that too. Where they truly shine is the meat. They only offer the stuff of the finest steakhouses for absurdly reasonable prices. Go there, Yolanda, her family and their food will charm you.

Some of my favorites: Entraña - literally the best flavored steak you will ever come across. Tostados - an elevated to the next level ham and cheese sandwich, sounds pedestrian, but it'll rock your world. Empanadas - Duh, no brainer, they are exquisite and lovely, my cousin and his wife come in from Redlands just to have them. They creep into your thoughts and produce that craving nothing less can satisfy. They come either fried or baked, both preps are delish. The pizza's, it may seem odd but they know what they're doing.

An altogether separate section for this place's chimichuri: it is bar none, head and shoulders above any other I've had, and I've had a lot of it, trust me on that. It's like oil based gold, you'll squeeze every last drop from the small containers it comes in. I put it on everything, I even bring some home and put it on my eggs the next morning.

Bottom line you won't be disappointed. I hear tell they have added a Peruvian style lomo saltado to the menu, I'll have to report back.

Dining at Spaggi's is a wonderful experience; I love the food, the flavor and presetation are superb. The icing on the cake is when Chef Henry comes around to speak to the customers at their table. It's my favorite restaurant in this area.
