Fresh meats, seafood and veggies prepared in an authentic manner. Wonderful side dishes compliment entrees. Crisp, clean flavors never overpowered by sweetness, soy sauce, heat or gloppy sauces. Perectly balanced curry dishes. A helpful and friendly staff. This restaurant is a jewel.

I travel extensively and have eaten at MANY Thai restaurants. Thai House exceeds them all. Their meals are prepared perfectly with wonderful blended flavors and "heat"...just the way Thai food should be!! It's not a fancy place...but who cares when the food is this good! No matter where I travel, I always "come home" for the best Thai food around!

If I had never had Thai food, I might have liked my meal. My friend and I split the Vegetarian meal for 2. The food was terribly bland and the service was bad.

The Thai House is simply the best restaurant in Grand Rapids. What it's lacking in ambience (a humble strip mall setting), it more than makes up for with great food and great service. This it Thai food done right - full of flavor and as spicy as you want it. Don't miss the spring rolls - they're wonderful. The menu is huge an so are the portions. You will not regret a visit to The Thai House! (I'll let you in on a secret: The Thai House is one of the only restaurants on busy 28th Street where you rarely have to wait for a table on Friday or Saturday nights.) (Another secret: they have the best water in Grand Rapids - it sounds hokey but it's true!)

As a vegetarian, I appreciate their extensive vegetarian menu (they do serve meat as well). The food is always very fresh and very consistent. You've got to try their salad (fresh with a wonderful sweet yet tangy homemade dressing) and the vegetarian spring rolls (with homemade dipping sauce). From mild to super-hot, they will cook to order. Their Tofu (fried) is the best I've ever had. In general, the food is very healthy (they appear to use less oil than many Thai restarants). Also, the portions are large (and make for great leftovers). You can't go wrong at The Thai House!
