I went to the Amarillo for the first time last night and loved it. The service was great, the music fantastic (keep the volume where it is ..perfect for dinner conversation without having to hear the table next to you), and the food was out of this world. I had the Texmelt and my date had the ribs - had to take some home due to portion size. Keep up the good work Amarillo. We'll be back.

Wow! Went to the Amarillo for the first time last night and loved it. The service was great and the music was incredible. They play a little of country, rock, blues ... you name it. The best part of course is the food. I had the Texmelt and my date had the ribs. Both superb. A shout out to the server and cooks at the Amarillo .. you rock!

By far the best BBQ this side of Texas. Authentic wood smoked ribs were the best I ever had. The decor was outstanding. If you didnt know it, you would think you were in Texas.

We dined here (party of two) and would never recommend it to anyone. We were there for a date, and were put into a room full of families (where children were screaming much of the time-no fun!).

We had read a lot online that said this was good, but we were sorely disappointed. First off, the choices on the menu were limited. Second, the portions were small (and I mean SMALL)-the sides were served in minuscule dishes. I thought everything was bigger in Texas?

I had chicken, which was very, very dry, despite the sauce on top. My date had ribs which he said were mediocre at best. Also-they served margarine with the very, very dry cornbread. Ick.

The prices were moderate, and the service quick and courteous, but with the food so poor, I would not return there, nor recommend it.

It sounds like they used to have better food-I sincerely hope they improve it.

This is the best barbecue I've ever tasted. I've had barbecue in Texas and Tennessee, and Amarillo's surpasses all. And the service has always been outstanding every time we go. This is one place you can't pass up!

Amarillo truly has the best ribs out of all the restaurants I have been to. I highly recommend people stopping at Amarillo when in Bellevue, because it is the best tasting barbeque around.

Spent a weekend in Omaha and ate at Amarillo - all I can say is that Gordon knows what this is all about. We had a group of 17 people, and everyone said "Best BBQ we ever had"!! Awesome!!

Without a doubt, the best ribs. I live in Minneaplis, and we will drive to Omaha for the weekend just for the Feather Bones. We always get some to take home too.
