All I can determine is that it's known for it's spectacular view, not for it's over salted shrimp fajitas. However they do make a Hurricane that will kick your butt!!! We'll be back for the bar, not for the dinner.

a diner from Austin, TX
Well, while the Oasis has its points (mainly being the great sunsets and view), I was not overly impressed. My husband and I took our parents (who are from Texas and Panama) to dinner here before we were married with hopes of impressing them with this restaurant, but our experience was SO opposite from that. First off, our waiter was hardly EVER to be found. We never even received the drinks we ordered (I just wanted water!). After watching a family (who come in 45 minutes later than us AND kept shooting us pitying looks) get their food before us, we finally asked for the manager - who promptly presented us with the wrong orders. Mmm... I guess it is hard to remember to put chicken on the Ceaser Chicken Salad. Anyway, the sad part is that we were still charged full price, were sweaty after waiting in the sun for our drinks, and never received any apology at all. So in summary, go for drinks,a mediocre dinner, and enjoy the view - BUT keep tabs on your waiter at ALL times.
