Recently voted "Best Hotel Dining" in 2009 & 2008 by the readers of the Pittsburgh City Paper, The Terrace Room offers a setting unlike any other. From the moment you step foot inside, you are captivated by the beauty of this incredible restaurant, with its original molded plaster ceiling, sweeping mahogany arches, and the striking back wall mural titled "The Taking of Fort Pitt". The original name of the Restaurant when the hotel opened on March 9, 1916 was "The Italian Terrace". Historic photographs of the room adorn the walls upon entry for your enjoyment.
What is truly special about the Terrace Room however, is not limited to the ambiance or beauty of the room, but the culinary delights that are served within. Award winning Executive Chef Jacky Francois, and Terrace Room Chef Jeremy Voytish take fresh natural local ingredients, and fuse them into many creative dishes that inspire the palate and envelopes the senses in an unmatched dining experience. Our exciting offerings for Sunday Brunch are inviting, as well as tasteful.
The Terrace Room is located off of the elegant main lobby of the Omni William Penn Hotel.
