this restaurant is part of southern season, a fantastic culinary store. unfortunately the food was not as great as the gift shop although you wouldn't know it just by looking at it. I got the beef tenderloin with mashed potatoes and asperagus. the tenderloin was anything but tender and I've had similar potatoes while in the hospital. the even used the same ice cream scoop to serve them with. my husband had the shrimp and grits which was equally as lackluster. all the major componants were there but it seemed like they cooked everything separately without salt and put it all together at the end. might be worthwhile for someone with a sodium restriction. we didn't bother to try desert. instead we headed over to spice street which is in the same plaza and split a fabulous dessert and cappochino. next time we'll do dinner at spice street too.

great service. fabulous berry nepolean dessert and cappochino. we only had dessert and coffee this time but we will be back. everything looked so good and authentic.
The spice street platter app was pretty good. The ahi tuna with mango chutney was lackluster at best. the bouillabaisse was awesome. But sadly, the Berry Compote dessert was terrible! totally used frozen fruit not fresh and they didn't sweeten it eno
