Thea Mediterranean's interior sets the stage for a culinary adventure that is simultaneously welcoming and unusual. Designer Chuck Thompson, of Thompson Planning & Design in Larkspur, California, drew his ideas and inspiration from recent travels through Greece and Turkey with Thea's owners, Eduardo and Sylvia Rallo. Thompson took note of architectural and design elements (like color, textures, and materials), evocative of both modern and ancient Greece, as well as of Turkey and the many neighboring cultures.

Upon entering the main dining room, your attention is immediately captured by Thea's soaring two-story ceilings and a 20-foot olive tree. A stunning custom-made 8-foot square cobalt blue Venetian glass chandelier beckons you into the restaurant's bar area. Running the length of the 45-seat lounge is an imposing 20-foot tall dark mahogany back bar with backlit shelves. Peeking out from both the bar front and hostess stand are contemporary glass mosaics creating floral patterns exhibiting the Moorish influence. Thea Mediterranean's décor and authentic cuisine are as exotic as the regions that experience. Inspired it making it a stylish destination for socializing and memorable dining.
