We are a military family who has lived all over the South, and Thigs Resturant's Pulled Pork and Fried Chicken (Richlands, NC) is hands down best. We were fortunate to live just up the road from this mouthwatering dive, and did we ever take advantage of it. Their vinegar based BBQ sauce is a spicy, tangy perfect blend that ehances the tender pork. They also fry the chicken when you order it,so it's always fresh and juicy out of the grease. I rated the ambiance low, but thats because if you are looking for tableclothes and candles you are headed to the wrong locale. If you want a great value (The hush puppies are all you can eat lagniappe)and some of the best BBQ the South has to offer, it's worth the drive. Their breakfasts are huge and hearty as well, just in case you want to become a regular.

I visited my aunt (who lives on Catherine Lake Road) in June and she had a picnic catered by Thigs. The people who came to set up did everything, brought everything and were fun and friendly. The food and tea was AMAZING!!! I hated NC barbecue but now I love it. The hushpuppies are so good, I could eat them all day. I wish there was a place like Thigs here in Charleston, WV.

I am addicted to their BBQ sauce. I drive half an hour to eat here and I love it. The food is great and cheap so I can afford the gas to drive there. They bring sweat tea to the table in a pitcher and always make sure I have a to go cup for my ride home. I love love love their fried okra. This place is worth checking out.

This is a REALLY GREAT PLACE!!!!! It's a family owned place and they make you feel like your sitting down at your own house with your family and a GREAT country meal. (just people are waiting on you) But overall I give Thigs a 5 star rating!!!!
I love going to this restaurant because it reminds me of a place my Papa in Ky would go for coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner you name it with the local folks. It makes me feel at home and the food is AMAZING down home country cooking. Price is totally affordable on any budget. They even leave a pitcher of sweet tea at your table!
