My family and I love Tokyo. The food is great and the kids love the "show". But, if you want sushi, you need to go to Edo's restarant in Madison. It is much better.

The name 'Tokyo' was the first word my 3-year old grandson could read. Everytime we drove up to this fine restaurant, he would get excited - the great food, the thrill of the chef cooking, the ambience (water pond and all), the great staff. He is 8 now and still loves going here (dine in or take out)
This was the last time that I will ever visit Logans on University. Not only did it take over an hour to be seated, the service was so slow that it took 25 minutes to order, then it took one and a half hours to get our food. To top it off the food wa

My husband and I have dined at Tokyo since it opened and have enjoyed it each and every time we go. From the minute I walk in the door, my mouth starts watering b/c I know how good the food is here. The style and design is very unique and each time I go to a different Japanese steakhouse, I always compare it to Tokyo. There's nothing like it!
I am working on reloacting from Boulder, Colorado. When I first walked in, I was amazed with the restaurants decor. It must have cost them a fortune to build this place. From the floor to the ceiling, everything is intriquitly designed. The price of their menu is very competitive and high in value. The portions are enormous! The staffs manners and etiquette far exceeded my expectations. You can dine at the hibachi, quiet table, bar or at the sushi bar making each visit a pleasantly unique experience. If you like steak, ask to have your steak rare with a glass of wine. If you like Sushi, try the Spicey Tuna Roll. If you are a drinker, try the variety of Sake they have to offer. I'm hooked!
Terrible!! Just returned from eating - this is a factory - in and out in 45 minutes. The medium/rare steak was almost charcoal, the scallops were good enough to re-tread my spare. Will not return under any circumstances - a shame because I ate here several years ago and it was good.

I visit hibachi restaurants all the time and particularly enjoyed Tokyo for its relaxing yet entertaining atmosphere. I expected it to be expensive but the prices were reasonable and they also treated my children to treats, which they enojy everytime. In short, take your family to Tokyo steakhouse, and have a great time!
PLEASE, DON'T Go! Me and my wife was at huntsville from April 13-18. We're from brazil and love japanese food. I looked at internet as we are not familiar with Hunstville. But when we reach there was terrible. We order a salmon roll ( and believe me - if there's was 1% of salmon :( ) Bad quality food. And staff , want you eat fast and go way. I am very disappointed.

When i went to this restaraunt the service was average... Its just like any other japanese steak house in the area... The only thing that would make them stand out if anything could would be the whitesauce... This sauce is only available here... Its the main reason most people come to tokyo i hear... for me it does nothing.. Its overloaded with to much mayo.... I really wouldnt go back to this one or the others ... they dont really impress me that much... I have seen the same thing at each one...

We went to Tokyo's for the first time last month and it quickly became our favorite restaurant. The food was excellent, the service was great, and we loved the show. We go out for dinner and a movie once a month and we plan on eating at Tokyo's everytime. I would hightly recommend this restaurant. We didn't take our baby because he's still young, but the other children there(2 and up) seemed to enjoy the show and the food. They appeared to be very accomodating to children.

Tokyo smothers all of the food with terryaki sauce. So, if you like your scallops, steak, shrimp, and fish covered with it, you will love this place.

I am from Los Angeles, Ca. Recently relocated to Huntsville. I was having a hard time finding a good sushi and japanese food. When I found Tokyo, I was surprized. The sushi is phenominal, and the sushi chef is better than most of the high end sushi chefs in California.
