Tokyo has been reborn since the arrival of Lee and Lisa, the new owners of tokyo. I have had sushi all over the country, from NYC to Miami to San Franscico and Tokyo in Clemson is in the top 3! The review of Tokyo as "below par" is certainly about the old Tokyo or else the writer knows nothing about sushi. This is by far the best sushi in town!

Give Tokyo another chance. It is under new management although they retain the same name. "Lee" is the sushi chief and along with members of his family turns out some the finest sushi and tempera you will find anywhere. Service is good. Ask for chef specials at the sushi bar and be overwhelmed by the amount of food you will be given to eat.

Sushi is not up to par with the prices. Last time we went in they had an very incompetent elderly waitor. He would take orders but then sit down and fiddle with things, so we complained to the other waitor whom was taking care of the whole restaurant. He was very apologetic, but because our order was never turned in (after an hour of waiting for just soup) he told us it would probably suit us better to leave, no charge. NEVER went back. 356 sushi in downtown is by far the best!
