Westfield Restaurant Guide

We are jersey natives now living in florida. We visit jersey very often.The westfield diner is a MUST stop for us. We are pleased with everything about this place..the food,the cleanliness,the service..can't be beat. One of the owners,Angie is a fabulous hostess,very friendly..greets us like old friends.Don't miss the soups or the beef stew. Best diner in a state known for it's diners.

We are very disappointed in this resturant. We have been going for over 20yrs and when there was glass (a few pieces) in our food the hostess looked at us like we were nuts, never replaced our salads and never mentioned it again. There was no apology nor offer to correct the problem. We will no tbe returning to this establishment.

After going to my kid's play in Westfield, we thought it would be a good idea to grab some milkshakes and have a late dinner without spending to much money. We went to the Westfield diner. I have to say I have been going to diners for at least 20 and this has to be one of my favorties. The service was excellent. The waiter was very sociable, had a good attitude and was very quick. The food was decent. For a diner it was above average. The diner was extremely clean. I went there around 8 o clock and I can say there was a good mix of people. You had the young kids having their milkshakes, the senior citizens having the half roast chx and loin of pork. If I could recommend something it would be the stuffed mushrooms appetizer and the Florentince Scord. It was deliiiicous!!!!
They have a special machine for the milkshakes and on behalf of my kids I can say they were really good.
