For about 10 years I ate nothing but the General Tso's chicken with shrimp and peapods. It had the best brown sauce. Then about 5-6 years ago they changed the recipe. I don't want to say that it was bad, it just wasn't what I liked or wanted. Have not been back since. However we are going to try it again tonight (8/13/10) and hopefully they wised up and went back to the original sauce. It was always a good time there, but sometimes they skimped on the booze.

No one makes General Taos Chicken and Chicken Lo Mein like Wok Inn, believe me, I have tried it at numerous other restaurants, and the owners are so nice. I have never had a bad experience in the probably 12 years or so of going there. It is the best Chinese restaurant, hands down.
This is the best Chinese restaurant in town. As far as food is concerned, I feel they give P.F. Changs, and other high traffic Asian restaurants a real run for their money. The food is REALLY fresh, flavorful, and its not the cheap 'sit-under-a-light

The people who eat at Woks Inn must not have eaten at very many Chinese restaurants. This is by far the WORST Chinese restaurant in Macomb County. The Fried Rice, Lo Mein, Beef and Broccoli, and plain rice were extremely dry. Besides they charge you for 3 fortune cookies after purchasing $35 worth of food.
