As a Seattle native, I found it difficult to find great Chinese food in Boise. One thing Wok King offers that I am particular to, is Dim Sum. The only place in town with real Dim Sum not like the dry shu mai found at the buffets. The salt and pepper chicken is to die for. Try the walnut shrimp and you will not be sorry well, that is if you're not on a diet. Enjoy, it really is the best.

We have been going to the Wok King since it opened in 1987. We have tried practically everything on their menu. All of the items are excellent. We especially like the soups, Wor Wonton and Hot and Sour. We also order the Wok King Special Spareribs all the time (our kids' favorite). We also really like the Teppan Beef with Black Pepper Sauce, the Mu Shu, Orange Beef, and Singapore Style Rice Noodles. Their Steamed Pork Buns are great also. But these are my favorites, I have been in there with other people trying different items and have loved all of those too. Sometimes the service is not the greatest but the wait is well worth it. Get to know the wait staff and especially the owner, they are great people. Best times to go for dinner is between 4:30 and 6:00 and 7:30 to 9:00, otherwise it gets really busy during the 6:00 to 7:30 time slot. They also have a very active to go clientele, as there are to go orders being cooked up all night long.

We have been to every Chinese restaurant in Ada County. Wok King is still our favorite by far. We have been going to W.K. for 14 years. We have recommended it to literally dozens of people and almost all of them consider it their favorite Chinese restaurant as well.

Thier Moo Shu is divine. Everything else I have ever tried on the menu has been way above average. I love this restaurant. :) Closed on Sun
