Think of a crepe: something stuffed with fruit, maybe? A light, creamy topping, perhaps. Okay, now picture a crepe with Snails in a portabello, garlic, and butter sauce, or a crepe with broccoli, spinach, mushrooms and onions. Imagine a crepe with Chicken and broccoli, on Duck Confit. Sound intriguing? Different? Well, it is definitely French, and the theme of XO Creperie Restaurant and Terrace, Brooklyn's home of crepes and wine, for the truly French among you, or those who just aspire to be. There are crepes with Veal Stew, crepes with Pork and sweet corn, and crepes with Filet mignon. There are chocolate crepes, hazelnut butter crepes, and strawberry crepes. If you can imagine a crepe, XO probably has it. And that doesn't even touch the wine menu, with white, red and rose wines from Germany to Italy, and more. XO Creperie is a little bit of France in New York, waiting for you.
Unfortunately another Russian restaurant died after renovation. They just reopened in September 2010. This Russian restaurant lost its face. Food, interior, music etc. everything became average.
The place needs more tables. It is very cozy and small and has only two tables. But the food will not disappoint. Crepes are exceptional with goat cheese and sun dried tomatoes. Oh,also, I wish they had more drinks. Coffee was decent.
